Cardi Party #1

This is not your normal cardi party. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

There are no sweaters involved, except the people actually doing the sweating...

 

It's a full-on cardio party to leave you dripping, getting rid of the extra junk that may have accumulated from little (or big) cheats.

 

This is a great workout if you are short on time!  Each set is only 6 minutes long, so you could do the entire workout in as little as 12 mintues (excluding Ab Routine).

You'll Need:

Interval Timer set for 6-24 rounds of 50 sec work/10 sec rest

Medicine Ball or Light Dumbbells

 

Cardi Party Protocol:

Do SET 1 one to four times in a row, performing each exercise for 50 sec and resting for 10 sec between each.

Take a 1-2 minute break.  

Then do SET 2 one to four times in a row, performing each exercise for 50 sec and resting for 10 sec between each 

 

Warm-Up: 10-Minute Abs Routine

3x 50-sec High Plank w/ 2 Knee Dips + 2 Shoulder Taps; rest 10 sec

3x 50-sec Russian Twists (w/ weight, opt); rest 10 sec

3x 50-sec Reverse Crunches; rest 10 sec

1 min Rocking Planks

 

The Workout:

SET 1: Perform 1-4 times in a row with no breaks

Jumping Jacks

Push-up Burpee + Tuck Jump

Wide-to-Narrow Squat Jumps (on Bosu, opt)

Bench Triceps Dips

Walking Lunges (w/ weight, opt)

Push-up + 2 Plank Jacks + Knee to Opp Elbow

 

Rest 1- 2 min

 

SET 2: Perform 1-4 times in a row with no breaks

Butt Kicks

Donkey Kicks/Handstands

High Knees

Supermans w/ Arm Rows

Mountain Climbers

Stair/Medicine Ball Taps
