Workout Plan: April 17-23

Spring Fever.

Do you have it? I've got it!

I take any excuse to be outside! Including workouts. I make a workout plan, but sometimes I switch things up a bit. For instance, if you follow me on Instagram, you'll notice that I pull out the speed ladder and do drills up and down the driveway. I sub those for the 1-minute cardio intervals between sets/circuits. Or sometimes I add in a quick 30-60-second hill sprint in place of the cardio. Or sometimes I make up a workout on the spot just so we can be outside!

You can use these workouts as a basis and take it to the park while your kids are playing. Swap out exercises and use the playground equipment as your gym equipment. Don't be afraid to get a little creative! Make fitness and exercise work for you. Turn it into a game! It's much more fun that way!

Thursday: Sevens 2

 
 

Saturday: Get outside and do something active for at least 30 minutes. If you need a quick strength workout, do one or more rounds of the Roarin' 20's Workout.

 

Sunday: REST DAY! Take a walk, stretch, do some Yoga or Pilates and enjoy the break.
